The wait is over! There are updates to all the three main Apple video applications and an update to the Pro Video Formats as well. Yes, it looks like the timecode bug in the dashboard of FCPX has been fixed!

The updates have hit the App Store. It looks like mainly bug fixes and optimisation which is all good news. As we always say, if you are in the middle of an important project, it is probably not a good idea to rush into the updates. Also make a copy of Libraries and any other critical files before downloading.

Apple have seemed to ticked off a few of the major gripes such as the timecode GUI display problem and also supporting more codec floors from the C300 Mark II. Will this clear the decks for a feature rich update before NAB?
