- Free software for ONVIF IP cameras VMS is our Windows-based software for recording all our IP cameras by computer. It is also supporting other brands of IP cameras via Onvif protocol. VMS is free and you can install it as many times as you like, either as a main NVR, or as an additional control unit for your IP CCTV system.
ONVIF (the Open Network Video Interface Forum) is a global and open industry forum with the goal of facilitating the development and use of a global open standard for the interface of physical IP-based security products. ONVIF - Potentially compatible with over 5000 NVT devices (e.g. Network cameras, servers). Generic RTSP/MJPEG - Support non-ONVIF IP cameras as generic RTSP or MJPEG streams. RTSP over HTTP - Help viewers traverse firewalls, and save servers from complex port configuration. Explore - In-depth exploration of device properties. Python-onvif also provides a command line interactive interface: onvif-cli. Onvif-cli is installed automatically.
